Diploma, transcript, passport, English certificate. Translation and certification steps are identified early — this stage usually takes longer than people expect.

Submitting applications
Portal registrations, uploads, application fees and deadline tracking.

Post-admission paperwork
Once the admission letter arrives, preparing the documents required for the visa or residence permit and planning appointments.

Accommodation search
A dorm application or a rental search. Listings are verified and the place is viewed in person where possible.

Applying to a single school
One application means one outcome. Several realistic options reduce the risk.
Delaying the English test
The test date and the time it takes for results must both fall before the application deadline.
Paying a deposit sight unseen
This is the most common problem when renting from abroad. Verification before payment is essential.
