Terms of service
These headings are the basis of the service agreement you would sign. The full text is sent to you before any payment.
1. Nature of the service
The service consists of information, guidance and practical settlement support for students planning to study in Lithuania. It is provided independently; no official representation, agency or brokerage for any university is undertaken.
The service is not legal advice, immigration advice, medical care, insurance or financial intermediation, and cannot be construed as such.
2. What is not guaranteed
Admission, scholarships, visas, residence permits, accommodation allocation and the outcome of any official application are not guaranteed. Those decisions belong to the universities and the authorities concerned.
Recognition of a diploma and professional recognition are subject to assessment by the competent authorities in the student's own country.
3. Fees and payment
The service fee is set per student and paid in two equal stages: the first half on signature of the service agreement, the second after the student's arrival in Lithuania. The current amount is given in the consultation and stated in the agreement.
Payments are made by bank transfer and documented. Cash payments are not accepted.
University tuition, application fees, rent, deposits, government fees, visa and residence permit fees, sworn translation, notary and apostille costs, health insurance, travel and other third-party expenses are not included in the fee and are paid directly to the institution concerned.
4. Cancellation and refunds
The student may terminate the agreement at any stage. Services actually performed up to the date of termination are treated as earned; amounts collected for stages not yet performed are refunded.
The second-stage payment is not requested before the student has arrived in Lithuania and the pickup has taken place.
Where a university application is unsuccessful, the course of action — the next intake or alternative programmes — is agreed in the contract in advance.
5. The student's obligations
The student is responsible for the accuracy of their own information and documents. Application declarations and signatures belong to the student.
Obtaining documents on time, meeting examination dates and attending official appointments are the student's responsibility.
6. Power of attorney
A notarised power of attorney may be required for certain steps to be handled on the student's behalf. Its scope is defined narrowly and for a limited period; nothing outside that scope is undertaken.
The power of attorney does not include authority to collect money on the student's behalf or to incur financial obligations in the student's name.
7. Limits of liability
No liability is accepted for the decisions, actions or delays of universities, public authorities, landlords, banks or other third parties.
Information provided is based on the official sources of the institutions concerned as at the date it is shared. No liability is accepted for consequences arising from subsequent changes to those sources.
8. Capacity
A limited number of students is taken on per intake. Where places are full, this is stated at the first consultation.
9. Governing law
The agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are first addressed through amicable resolution.
The headings above are for information. The binding provisions are contained in the signed service agreement, which is sent to you before payment.
