Some steps can be handled while you're still in Türkiye — or during a lecture — if a notarised power of attorney is in place.
Why
When it's actually needed
University enrolment, tenancy agreements, submitting residence permit documents and certain bank matters are, as a rule, done in person. But for steps that must start before you arrive, or where you can't be physically present, a limited and clearly defined authorisation can move things along.
It's worth keeping the scope narrow: only what is genuinely needed, for a defined period. A broad, open-ended power of attorney isn't necessary, and I wouldn't recommend one.
