Fields
Main areas of study
- ✚Medicine, dentistry, veterinary
Usually long integrated programmes. Places are limited, applications can close early, and science grades weigh heavily. Recognition in Türkiye is a separate matter to research in advance.
- ⌁IT and software
Software engineering, computer science, data science, cyber security. Mathematics background and English level stand out in applications.
- ⚙Engineering
Mechanical, electrical and electronic, civil, mechatronics, aviation and transport — lab and practice heavy.
- ◫Business, economics, finance
Wide choice at bachelor's and master's level, with international cohorts and industry links.
- §Law and public governance
EU law, international relations, public administration. Studying law and being able to practise in Türkiye are different questions; we discuss that upfront.
- ◎Psychology and social sciences
Psychology, communication, political science, sociology. Some programmes include placements or fieldwork.
- ⚓Maritime and marine sciences
Centred on Klaipėda, covering ports, logistics and marine technology.
- ✎Arts, design and languages
Visual arts, design, philology and language programmes, which may ask for a portfolio or an additional test.
When applying
What to check before choosing a programme
English requirement
The accepted certificate and level differ by school. Test dates have to be planned backwards from the application deadline.
Prerequisite subjects
In health and engineering programmes especially, high school science grades feed directly into the assessment.
Recognition and career
If you plan to work in Türkiye or elsewhere in the EU afterwards, research professional recognition before you apply.
